About Ian

Ian Pinckney is a licensed Associate Broker with Curasi Realty Inc. since 2009 and was raised in the real estate industry. His parents, Robert and Donna, started their real estate careers in the early nineteen eighties with Coldwell Banker Currier and Lazier, retiring in 2002. Ian obtained his license to practice in 2000 and started as an agent with Coldwell Banker with is parents as mentors and acquired his GRI designation in 2006. In 1998 Ian, his father and brother Robert started to build homes in the town of Crawford area in Pine Bush and went on to build several homes up to 2002. With vast management experience from many years at a distribution warehouse, Ian was offered a management position with Coldwell Banker in their Newburgh location and went on to manage the Pine Bush location after his mother retired from there. In 2005 Ian built his family home in Pine Bush where he currently resides with his wife, daughter and son.

Throughout Ian’s career he has been a licensed agent/ associate broker for three of the biggest brokerages in Orange county including Coldwell Banker, Better Homes & Gardens and Curasi Realty. Specializing in new construction, land/ development, historic homes, lake front properties, commercial, condo/ townhouse and leasing properties and covering Orange, Ulster, Sullivan, Dutchess & Rockland counties. Ian enjoys spending time with his family at his parents’ lake front property at Pleasure Lake in Sullivan county going fishing with his son, hosting annual events with the fishing and boating club and making great memories with friends and family. His hobbies are photography, art, music and fishing.
